We believe that the complete Bible consists of the Tanakh (Old Testament, consisting of Torah, Neviim and Ketubim (The Law, the Prophets and the Writings) and the B'rit Hadasha (New Testament).

We believe that the Bible is the very Word of the Creator God of the Universe and is therefore the final authority in all matters pertaining to doctrine, the nature of God and the meaning of life.  All speculations, assumptions and assertions must be evaluated according to what the Bible says on the subject.

We believe that the Tanakh is entirely about Y'shua (Jesus) the Messiah, what He is supposed to be like and what He is to accomplish.  It is therefore, entirely in harmony with the B'rit Hadasha.

We, therefore, hold that the Bible is the only "Holy Book" that makes a valid claim to legitimacy.

We believe that Y'shua is the only means by which one can obtain eternal life.

We believe that, by virtue of what the Bible says, the Jewish people have and will continue to survive history.

We believe, contrary to popular opinion, that The Messiah, Y'shua, plus Zionism are going to be the only actual means by which peace will come to a world that is at war.

K'hilat Memphis is a group of folks who get together to study the scriptures, pray together and attempt to communicate our beliefs to others. We generally tend to think for ourselves, yet, surprisingly, we discover that when we do so, we tend to be more in agreement than not.

There's a saying that "dead things float down stream.  Living things swim against the current."  Not because we want to, but out of necessity, we've learned that we have to "swim against the current".
